My favorite day was...
When I went to Kamloops BC with my family and it was so much fun. We packed up the van and drove off but something happened. The day before we left we took our van to get a tune up and buy new tires, but the mechanic tightened our brakes too much, causing them to burn. It smelled like burnt plastic, it smelled gross! We couldn’t leave so we drove back to Regina. We woke up the next morning at 6:00 am and took off. I was so excited, it took SO LONG because we made a lot of stops! Then we finally got to Calgary. I loved it when we went to the Calgary Tower but that worried me the most. The tower stood at 626 feet high, it was tall!

The next morning we went to Calaway Park, which was fun. I loved the log ride, we got so wet from head to toe, and then we went on the roller coaster. I went on that ride about 5 or 6 times and it wasn’t scary! We went back to the hotel to swim, and eat then we went to bed. We woke up and drove again it was LONG but we finally got there. As soon as I got out of my van, the air smelled so fresh and clean, it was so beautiful. The mountains were so high and the lakes were so blue. I went to Kamloops for my dad. He was playing baseball in the Canadians. It took us about 18 to 19 hours to get there, but it was worth it. My dad won the tournament and I got to see Kamloops for the first time. It was so fun!

Life on other planets
Hi I’m siera I’m going to be talking to you about life on new planets. I went to school at Junior High Planets it’s a very good school I graduated there about 5 years ago I got my degree at Solo Planets University. From there I got a major job that is finding new life it’s a very exciting job you learn a lot and discover new things everyday. One planet was named Zelelo I have discovered new life on this planet it is purple and shaped like a circle and very tiny. I traveled there on a rocket ship, and I went there about 2 weeks ago. I actually stayed on this planet for about 3 days I wonted to find more facts about this planet so I stayed on it! It was actually scary it gets really dark there you can’t even see a thing it was terrifying. One night when I was going to sleep in my rocket ship a hole bunch of psycho frog came and attacked me so I started up my rocket ship and flew back to Earth. It was a fun experience I had lots of fun!

Watersheds

Watersheds
Hi my name is Siera I’m going to talk to you about watersheds.
A watershed carries water from the land after rain falls and snow melts. Drop by drop water is put into soils, groundwater, creeks, and streams, making its way to larger rivers and eventually the sea. The bad thing about watersheds is that it affects water quality from all communities living downstream because it could wreck there houses, cars, and all there belongings. In Saskatchewan we have 13 major watersheds. Water’s journey beings at the highest point separating water into river systems. Tons of million of people live within the larger watersheds. There is a watershed at Regina Beach called Long Lake.

Watersheds are important to use because we need it for showering, we need it to drink. With out water we can get dehydrated. It’s very important for tour fish, and reptile friends. We use water for everyday use. For example: cooking we use water in our food. We also use water for cleaning and, hygiene. We need water to survive.
I interact with water by taking a shower or baths everyday. I drink water about 8 times a day. When I cook I use water. I take showers and baths we wash my hands in water; I even swim in water every week. Why do I interact with water? So I can keep my hygiene clean! So I can live and keep living things alive, like plants, animals, humans!
We are surrounded by watersheds, every where we go. Homes, farms, ranches, forests, small town, big town, and others could make up watersheds. Watersheds come in all shapes and sizes, some are millions of square miles others are just a few acres, watersheds are nearly always part of a larger watershed. My watershed is important to me because we rely on water to survive. Our everyday needs require the use of water, and without watersheds to carry our water we would not survive. Why do we protect our water? So we don’t get any contagious sicknesses, and so we don’t die, and help living things stay alive!
The End!
