Bob Boyer
Bob Boyer was born in July, 20, 1948. He grew up in Prince Albert. He joined the Saskatchewan Art community in 1973. He was then a professor of First NAtion Fine art at the Saskatchewan Indian Federated college. Bob Boyer first painting was about the wroung Europeanshave done to the Aboriginal people. Bob Boyer died in 2004 doing what he loved dancing Pow Wow. Bob Boyer liked to use blakets as his painting surface. In his painting surface. In his paintings he used the traditional design patterns of the plains Cree. In 1928. Bob Boyer became a professor and department head of Indian art at the Saskatchewan Indian Federated college at the University of Regina. My favorite art peice was a the Smallpox Issue it was telling us how the Europeans gave First Nation a sickness it was sad because if that never happen there would be more FIrst Nations in the world. The painting had little dots all over it and had 3 teepees on it but I really think that sad. We walked around and talked mostly abotu Bob Boyer art and it has lost of facts about First Nation. With Barbra we mad little boxs and in thouse boxs were our air we blew in to them and they would be in the musme. Barbra started to get into art around the age nin and novels. Barbara came to St. Gregory and did a art project will us. We had to fold a box and blow it to it! So know are air is in those boxes! Ballet Ballet originated in Italy, but it is thought France and Russia. The word ballet comes from the French and was borrowed into English around the 17th century. Ballet is a form of dancing performed for theatre audiences. Like other dance forms, ballet may tell a story express a mood, or simply reflect the music. The choreographer, composer, and scenery and costume designer work together as a team. But the dancing is the most important part of a ballet.A theatrical presentation of group or solo dancing to a musical, usually with costume and effects. Ballet emerged in late 15 century. The female dancers are called ballerinas, the male dancers are called danseur. It is important for ballerinas to have good arches in their feet. Ballet is a specific type of dance.The designer must plan scenery and costumes that allow the dancers space and freedom of movement. You need to be tall and thin you use ballet shoes or Pointe shoes for this dance. Uses classical music ballet focuses on 5 positions ballet developed in Italy. Women have more importance than men. Most ballerinas wear out 2-3 pairs of Pointe shoes per week. Maria Tallchief born January 24, 1925)in Fairfax she was an American ballerina. From 1942 to 1947 she danced with the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, but she is best known for her time with the New York City Ballet.1947 to 1965she became the leading ballerina of the New York City Ballet.

Mother Bear and her cubes

Mother Bear and Her Cubs One day cubs were getting hungry so mother bear went out to find some food. She took her baby cubs with her. Mother bear (Sky) went another direction then baby cubs (Brandon, Sheyleen) went the opposite direction. Then Brandon and Sheyleen were getting really hungry and they found food right beside a cave. They went towards it and found fish. They grabbed it and stared eating. They heard something coming closer to them. A Grizzly Bear came out and stared ROURING. The baby cubs ran as fast as they could. They were crying and Sky can her them. Sky was crying she had all this food for the cubs. It was getting dark and the cubs were getting tired they found a tree they laid down and fell asleep. Sky was still up crying and thinking ‘what is happening to my babies’? She got up and stared looking for them. She was walking then she saw something moving. She was calling their names, ‘Brandon, Sheyleen’ no one answered she got closer. It was the Grizzle Bear mother ran and cried at the same time. She saw a tree she sat down. She was breathing hard. She laid down and there her babies were sleeping right beside the tree.
